Excel Online Calculator
Browser-based calculator powered by a spreadsheet
What does an Excel-based web app look like to your users? Try our sample and find out! The underlying spreadsheet is shown, and the great thing about EASA is that spreadsheet is still being used (as the “logic” engine) so the functionality is left intact (including any VBA, macros, add-ins, etc.) but the user experience is now easier, far more secure, and the Excel back-end is transparent to them.
It is impossible to alter the spreadsheet or access the logic and formulas – complete IP and integrity protection
No coding was required to build this web app – no dependency on your IT and software developers
The Excel file remains in its native form – while the app can look and feel different (if desired), no changes are necessary in the underlying spreadsheet

Try our in-browser app, working from a live spreadsheet – no download needed and no client-side installation of MS Excel necessary

Benefits & Features
Secure Intellectual Property
By creating a web-based version of the tool, users can make use of the app, but have no access to any of your proprietary data, keeping your IP safe..
Eliminate Version Confusion
As a web application, the correct spreadsheet is “hardwired” within the application ensuring only it is used. Furthermore, copies of the spreadsheet are no longer available to the users, preventing version proliferation and confusion.
Accessible To Multiple Users
EASA does not involve any “checking in or out” of the spreadsheet and multiple, simultaneous users can utilize the EASA web application. There is no possibility of users overwriting one another’s work.
Will my VBA or macros still work in a spreadsheet calculator?
EASA’s architecture is unique, as it continues to utilize your actual spreadsheet (the “engine” behind the web app), even if users cannot do so directly. This means that VBA, macros and add-ins will continue to operate.
Can I integrate my spreadsheet with other software?
Yes, EASA can be configured to drive most other software systems and tools. Some of the most common integrations include multiple databases, CRM systems, ERP systems and in-house software.
Is it possible to build in workflow management, such as an e-signature?
EASA can control processes and require an intermediate step before continuing. Common applications include approvals, e-signatures and requiring additional inputs from other people or sources before allowing the process to continue.
Can EASA save data into a database?
Yes, in fact, rather than save multiple spreadsheets, EASA can save the critical input/output data into a central, relational database. This can be your corporate database (or databases), or you can utilize the MySQL database that comes included with EASA.

The EASA platform is unique in that it reuses the native Excel spreadsheet as the engine. But it can do so much more, and is not at limited to just Excel. Database functionality, integration with other software and data sources, workflow management, embedding EASA transparently into other applications and more is possible.
